Heavy Metal Sporran
My son wanted one of these so we went to it. He came up with a pattern, then we took an existing sporran to the drill press and added some spikes. I think I want one for myself now.

Pretty cool, just dont wear it backwards or sit on it. Ouch.... Really it is cool and creative.

Is your son a fan of the Black Metal genre? This looks like something Dimmu Borgir would wear. Great job with the spikes!

That is a great example of adapting a standard-issue item to your own style!

Re: Heavy Metal Sporran
Thanks everyone. It was fun to make, though tightening the screws down at the bottom was a bit rough. Total cost was only about $30. Stillwater standard sporran and about $15 worth of spikes. The skull was from a Halloween bottle opener.
Lit, I AM irredeemable. I'm too far gone, but save yourself before it's too late!
Black Metal Genre? I'm too old to know what that means! He listens to all kinds of stuff that I'm not sure how to classify. Some of it even sounds good!
