    Improved US Army cap badge

    I bought the US Army cap badge when forum sponsor the Celtic Croft got the pewter version in. It was nice; a quality item, but something about it wasn't quite right. It was all silver. As the Army veterans among the rabble are aware, Army cap badges are gold in color. The Air Force wears silver. So after visiting a craft store and getting some gold leaf material, and after some time and patience, I turned the silver Army crest gold, as it should be. The "before" photo was taken from he Celtic Croft website. I didn't the forethought to actually take a "before" picture.
