it's been awhile since I made another sporran
but I made two in the last month and am trying my first formed project. That one will be a phone purse for my wife. I wanted to carve some new patterns to see if I could pull them off. Both are grizzlies (yea I know big surprise) I am going to grand teton and yellowstone next week so maybe will perhaps redo my anderson and McKenzie sporron as formed sporrans (if the phone turns out okay)
The first design was actually two, one on the face of the sporran and one on the belt loop.

I used a bolo attachment for the clasp a viking beserker in honor of my norse heritage
The second was fairly intricate and I just wanted to see if I could do it. I really liked how it turned out. I also tried a different bag pattern and a more simple attachment.
