    Just finished my belt!

I think it looks rather good! It took me a while, but I finally finished the belt, and I also finally got around to fixing my sporran. What do you guys think?

Looks good! Now you just need to make yourself a leather sporran strap to match... It'll look better and be easier on your kilt than the chain.

    Good work!

Belt looks great! I like that sporran. Is that a usual style for a sporran? I'm very new to kilts. Making a kilt for myself, and thinking about making a sporran to go with it. I like the way that one hangs. It hangs kind of like a draw sting pouch, but looks much better.

This sporran is more along the design of a "Rob Roy" style of sporran. It is very much like a drawstring pouch with a flap. I made mine from an unused purse of my wife's. (I'm still paying for that error) The modification was simple and fast to do. I like the simple lines, older circa look and roominess. My wife did forgive me when she saw that I use the sporran and her purse has a new life.

Sometimes when you lead a horse to water, it drinks.
