Having sold off my 34" Royal Reg't. kilt, I took the 38" one and did some major work on it. I shortened it as well as rebuilt the innards and lining of the thing. It is now a better fit, feels better, and is built better. I also just made a new belt and sporran strap. I found a nice inexpensive 2 1/2" buckle for $6.50 http://www.zackwhite.com/2-12-Solid-...SB_p_2329.html

Well done, IsaacW, the fit of the kilt at the waist is superb!

Fine work. Is the belt and strap raw leather (un-dyed)? I like the contrast with the sporran also.
Good job! and happy wearing.
