    What's the tartan?

    Just my 2¢ worth.

No idea; it is Italian fabric I bought on Ebay.
I have yet to buy any proper worsted tartan kilt fabric. If I'm lucky I might get some for my next birthday!

Except for the width of the yellow, it looks a little like the tartan of the US Army.

Looks great Terry; where did you go?
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!

    Hi Alastair,
So far we have had a week near Shrewsbury in March where the weather was cold and windy, a couple of weeks based at Hagbeach in the fens in April where we had great weather for so early in the year; and a couple of weeks just north of York in May where the weather cooler and very windy at times.
Most of my holiday snaps are at National Trust or English Heritage sites.
The heavyweight black Melton kilt was truly tested in the strong winds!
    Regards
    Terry

That's what I thought, they look interesting. We are also National Trust members, which is why I asked. I'll email you.

    Regards

    Alastair.

The places that you visited are certainly beautiful. You fit right in.

You are obviously wearing it with pleasure. It looks great!

    Wear it with pride, Terry!

Now we are looking forward to your next kilt.
