    Mini Kilt :D

My little sister wanted a mini kilt to wear to our St. Patrick's Day parade in Savannah, GA... So I did . I sadly didn't post any of it in the making. She is so excited to wear it!

I used Barb T.'s book The Art of Kilt Making to make it, and it wasn't as complicated as I thought it would be to make a smaller kilt, it was actually quite easy and took me only 4 days.

the kilt might look kind of funny because she doesn't have a pin on...

PS: she has a boot on because she has a high ankle sprain. (she tried to run with one foot still asleep lol)

Great work - the many mini pleats alone would eat up more than a day here - if I did'nt go blind first. My hat is off to you!

Not having a pin is no problem. It looks GREAT! Funny shoe on the Left foot though. Lets see pictures of the St. Patty's celebration with it. Good job!!!

That boot with out another shoe really has the kilt, her pelvis and spine wonky to the top of her head. Makes my back hurt. Hope she has a balancing shoe she wears around the house..

Wonky? I was just thinking how well she wears a kilt and thanking the Lord Almighty for lasses who wear clothing so well!

I just get empathic to pain. I learned the first time, not to walk with just a walking cast. Took longer for the chiropractor to get my back right than I spent in the cast.
Oh and viva la difference too.

You did a great job. I like the white straps. Hope she heals fast.
