my first sporran

as the title indicates, it was my first attempt at a sporran, so comments and suggestions are more than wellcome.

i made it to go with my camo-kilt, the one i posted in the "me in my kilt" section. a good friend of mine tried both of them on, and (wouldn't you know it)....liked them

so i gave them to him as a present. after all, he'll be my best man at my upcoming wedding.

Wow. Fantastic job! I recently finished my first sporran as well and it's amazing the amount of thought and effort goes into those little buggers. Good for you undertaking such a project and turning out such a nice looking sporran.

thank you for your kind words, cowher, but yours is so much nicer. in fact, once i finish the two black ones, i'm working on now, i might give your style a go. i have a few fox hides and i really like the combination of a leather cantle with fur. thank you for the inspiration.
