In another thread titled "Help needed finding a Jacobite style sporran" I was inspired, or possibly way to bored, by a simple design for this style of sporran. Since had some elk leather left and some cow hide and it was only 5am i decided to see how long it would take me to throw one together. After making a template for the flap and figuring out the best spot to chop out a 17" circle of elk I finally finished after about 45 minutes. I attribute the last 15 minutes to sleep deprivation, lol. I added a elk antler button on the flap and drilled out a piece of whitetail deer antler for the bed to hold the pouch closed tightly.
