The new cammo kilt
OK, I'm finished. I finished the back pocket, added two more belt loops to the apron, and decided to stitch up the inner pleats, I wasn't going to at first, but I figured it wouldn't take long so I stitched those up too. Since the fabric doesn't wrinkle heavily I was afraid it wouldn't hold a pleat after I wash it if they aren't stitched. The fabric is pretty light weight so I decided to add a piece of canvas to the inner and outer aprons for support and to make it look a little more rigid in the front, I didn't bother to add any to the back since the pleating was fairly thing and strong. Theres just about 5 yards of material on this thing. Theres 15 pleats on it. I think it turned out OK, except I don't like the way the apron hangs on the left side, it seems to flare out a bit. Oh, and the white lines you can kinda see, those are from the fabric pencil, I havent washed them out yet. Anyways, here it is....

Very nice. I like the look. Most camo's are a lot lighter. I like the dark night camo look.

nahhh...it's not too dark. That's good ole "tiger stripe" camo....used in jungle fighting...circa vietnam war era.

The tiger stripe looks good!
Cloves~ The USAF uses a style of tiger stripe currently. Seems like everyone except the USN has moved away from the old woodland pattern.

I like it.
I have one I made in Digi USMC Woodland, and one in Urban Camo.
I will be making a couple in 3 color desert camo in the next couple weeks.
But I must agree, after seeing yours, I really like the Tiger Stripe.
I found a place online to buy it, I may have to get some and make that my next camo one.

I LOVE the multicam. When I get one, I won't get all the extras, just two cargo pockets.

Nicely, done. I too, have a tiger stripe camo kilt but as I'm not as talented as you, I purchased it from Amerikilts.
