I've been having so much fun making the caubeens, and the caubeen style hats, that maybe I've gone a step too far. What does the rabble say?


The top is made from 100% felted wool. The headband, tassel, and ties are doeskin. Inside is lined with black silk.
Too much?

I'm not overly fond of the extra long ties, just because I don't like stuff on my neck, but it looks like you've done a good job with it all.

That would go great with buckskins at a living history or while stalking thru the wood huntin dinner. May have to make one myself when i get a few projects out of the way.
