    Purty sheath for my next dirk

    The dirk isn't done yet, but I just finished the sheath. It's purty... I'm happy with it.



    The dirk is eventually going to be a primitive bullock style.

    Yes, I think they are. It's one of many designs I lifted from photographs of the Book Of Kells. I love the artwork in that! The dogs on my targe are the same.

    This is the "before" picture- it may make the birds a little easier to see

    The color is 2 parts emerald green, one part thinner, airbrushed on, and then coated with an antique gel.
