    Sgian dubh bottel opener- yet another version

    Due to arm injury I was forced to give it a rest and could do only easy projects. This was opportunity to finish my simple sgian. I like the "rustic" simple look of it, plus practical value that it has. Some pics:

    Handle is walnut. I saved a branch from the walnut in my yard. I didn't polish it to high polish, just enough to have a nice feel in hand and coated it with oil. This gives you nice yet non-slip grip.

    Very nice. I like the hand rubbed look. Plus you certainly don't want to slip while you are opening your beer.
