    Sporran loop creation and attachment

    Hi all,

    I recently have changed my technique for making and attaching sporran loops from what is in TAoK. I did this because I must accept that people use them for belts and they therefore take quite a beating from the belt, especially when sitting. Instead of just blind stitching the rolls of tartan and invisibly stitching onto the pleats with carpet stitch, I now insert a strip of hair canvas into the loop (I also put a strip into buckle tabs/bearers). Then I attach the top band over the top of the loop.
