I made a test tartan from my new loom. different style of loom, completely different style of weaving. test_tartan_1.jpg This one is on the loom, which is a might wolf. lolly_tartan.jpg the pattern is one I made up from just a few of the colors from the Arizona tartan which is what I got the loom to do.
Cool! I like it, and it looks like it's long enough to make a really nice scarf.

The scarf is 6'. When I warp it for the Arizona Tartan I will be doing a 7 yard for my son and a 9 yard for the husband and a 6' for the sashes for the girls. As I don't have a sectional beam on this loom, I need to brake it into smaller pieces. Will be a lot more yarn for the salvages but more manageable.
That looks great! I'd love to see a photo that includes the loom.
not of the tartan under weaving but of the process of warping the loom: IMG_3641a-small.jpg IMG_3642a-small.jpg
That is great. Thanks for the photos.
Nice even twill line, nice square beat - beautiful!
Wow! Nice! Weaving is almost like magic to me. It blows my mind. :-)

I had to relearn how to beat the weave on this loom. on my old loom it had to be beat into place. on this loom the weft is placed. the first 2" everything is rectangles.
Awesome , It would be great to have a Loom , keep us posted on your work . would you be willing to any side work ? Thank you
