It took a while but it's finally finished ...
Nearly two years ago, at the Kilt Kamp in Victoria, I watched Barb lay out the Hudson Bay Kingussie kilt she made for her daughter (http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/f...t-woman-75461/). After being blown away by both the tartan and the pleating I got a chunk of tartan from Steve to bring home...where it has sat patiently waiting for me to get around and do something with it.
So here it is. I'm happy to say I did nearly the entire job without once running to Barb for help (okay, there may have been a couple of panicked emails but it's so hard to interpret tone from emails ....). I did, however, have to rip out all the pleats I had done because I realized I had used the wrong measurement for the waist pleats! (thanks go to Barb's husband Dave for taking these pictures)
Rumor has it there is a third Hudson Bay Kingussie somewhere in the Pacific Northwest but, lacking any definitive proof, it, like Bigfoot, may only be a myth ......

Very nice! Are you going to bring it with you to Kilt Kamp 2014? Perhaps the mythical 3rd one could also show up.....

Have we baited you enough?
