Tortoise Sgian

Had this blade ground and tempered for about a month now and after coming to a stopping point on two other projects I worked to the wee hours to finish this one up. This knife restored my confidence once finished It is a full tang damascus sgian with bronze bolsters and composite gemstone Tortoise shell handles. I secured them with torx screws that I use on folders. Sort of a contemporary sgain for the distiguished Scot

No double edge, that would make it a stiletto and slightly illegal, and none of us want to have our mugshots taken while kilted Then again it could be fun.
The shine you see on the top is where I polished the spine and the bottom is the actual edge-very observant!
