What to do with that scrap of tartan?

Here's an interesting idea. I've got enough Dutch Friendship left that I might give it a whirl. Nice treatment and an alternative to the tedium of purling (in the fabric sense of the word!).

There is a discussion of this idea....turning 16 ounce tartan into something soft enough to call a scarf, "elsewhere" online...I think you know where! LOL...I'm going to be trying this.

Oh I like that! Nice detailing with the blanket stitched edging.

I noticed on the "link" its called Blood Vow. I'm guessing that would be to compliment your wardrobe to fit a clan association? It also seems an alternative to the lace "dollie collars" tatted by women of earlier times.

I have a small tartan bean bag to act as a camera support.
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!
