What Do You Think Of A Tartan Sporran?

    Hi all

I've been thinking about this idea for some time, and the convertible flap of my sporrans makes it doable. I finished this last night. what do you think?

That looks FABULOUS! However (he said, putting on his "picky picky" hat), the tartan clashes just a touch with the green leather in the sporran body. But I like it, oh my, do I like it!

I like the look of that. I'm not sure that I would like the whole sporran to be the same tartan as the kilt, but the flap looks good! Thanks for sharing, and, may I commend you on your superb work!

Pretty darn good! This "convertible" sporran of yours is a font of possibilities.

I agree. The idea is to have a basic sporran body and interchangeable flaps than can go with multiple kilts. The flaps snap into the pouch.

BTW, thought it doesn't show well in the pic, the stitching is yellow to go with the yellow stripe in the sett.

And yes if the body were solid black that would do it.
