    Workman Belt modification...

....along time ago. I was digging through a box of my stuff and found this belt I had bought at Lowe's at least 10 years ago. I found a workmans belt.
In the back of the belt it had orginally had some kind of brand or fastened label that I didn't care for. A friend and I cut out leather patches and used brass rivets. The buckle and rivets now have a nice patina on them. I think it looks pretty snazzy.

Here is the back of the belt with the leather patches and brass rivets.

That looks really good, it looks so good in fact I just found a 3" wide workmans belt at sears that is oil tanned and dark brown. It is only $17.00 just picked it up to use as a kilt belt.

I really like that patch on the back. It adds quite a bit to the belt.
