X-Kilt #2

Well, I've almost got X-Kilt #2 done, currently doing the test fit without the waitstband, and it works great. When I last posted that I was going to add a hidden pleat behind the front apron, I had forgotten I already had the front apron sewn on, but didn't yet have the inside apron on. I added the extra material by adding one extra pleat that goes inside the apron (using black, instead of the colors inside the rest) with an extra long arm going under the apron. Seems to completely solve the problem I had with #1.

Here's a preview... Note that my camera doesn't quite catch the colors right, though I didn't quite get the colors exactly as I wanted them. I wish the purple were a little more...

I have itfinished and in the washer. Maybe I'll go to the Pride event in Detroit in this kilt after I leave the mini maker faire in A2

Oh, is this one with different colored inserts inside purple pleats? Cool.
