    X-Kilt debut

Finally finished off my first x kilt for a Canada Day BBQ. The sporran (small camera bag) was a last minute need for cell phone and wallet storage. Now I just need to find a decent real sporran that won't break the bank and is not too ornate.

    Well done!

You do have a kilt shop just down island from you in Victoria. It is one good way to put your hands on some items to compare quality and price.

Plus you can talk kilts all day.

And as an X Marker you get free coffee and cookies.

    Free coffee and cookies?

    Thanks Steve,

I'll take you up on the offer this summer on my next trek down island.

Looks very nice. It seems to me that it will take well to many different looks. Happy wearing.

Great work there. More motivation for me.

I'll be starting my first X-Kilt soon. What kind of fabric did you go with? I'm wanting to do a super tough one for yard work, thinking canvas from a painters drop cloth. Any thoughts from your experience?
