Yes, ANOTHER 'My First Sporran' posts
Well, after browsing through half the DIY posts, it really made me want to DIY something too! Plus I wanted something 'mine' to take to GMHG. So I figured I would try a sporran, mainly because I wasn't thrilled with the 2 I had bought. So off to Michael's & AC Moore I go. Bought some scrap leather (Where they sell it by the pound) and this is what I came up with. Tri-toned, but kinda funky I think. I am at least happy with it. I won't post all the 'step by step' pictures, because I used the same steps as several on here in the DIY section. BTW, to all those who have posted your projects, I would like to say thank you for helping give me some inspiration!

I really like it! Just remember Never buy anything but scrap!!!!!!!! The leather company would charge about 50 dollars for the amount in a 1 pound bag if it were one piece.

LPS a member here made my sporran for me with leather taken from old couches that were to be destroyed. The result is really nice, and this route seems worth taking for the hobbyist.
