Forum Rules Update

By now you may have noticed that everyone has been asked to reread the forum rules and acknowledge that they have done so in order to post or PM. In our efforts to be the best Kilt Forum the internet has to offer (or at least the best one that we know how to make) the Moderators decided that we wanted to make sure everyone is on the same page about the forum rules. When the Moderators have to delete a post, remove a thread, or issue an infraction we do it to keep X Marks the Scot a productive, informative, pleasant, and family friendly site. That is the purpose of the Rules. This is why they have been separated from the FAQ and labeled as such. Every society and community has them and these are ours.

In the future, when we add to or make changes to the rules you will again be asked to read them and confirm you have done so. It is an inconvenience, but it is a small one. To those who truly enjoy participating in X Marks the Scot that extra minute shouldn't be too much.
