The 'Kilted Cook-Out' thread has been removed, over what appears to be some tremendous misunderstandings. Frankly, I saw nothing offensive in any of the posts, but upon further review I could perceive how one, capitalized word might have been misunderstood.

I have had contact with one of the participants in that thread and on the first read-through, the message appeared apologetic. On the second reading, I could see places where sarcasm ~could~ be oozing out from between the words. <shrug> I'm not going to spend the day ruminating over it, either way.

Once again, I want to remind everyone that even with the use of what we think are appropriate emoticons, our written words can often be mistaken as conveying something diametrically opposite our intent.

Please take the time to look at your posts from another's perspective, before submitting them. And please attempt to establish some frame of context when you read posts from others.
