    New posts

    I have a small problem.

Every time that I ask for the list of "new posts" or "what's new" I get this thread on the bottom of the list with the last post being attributed to xman. When I click on either the title of the thread (to see the whole thread) or the "see last post" button, there is NO post by xman and the next time I ask for "new posts", there it is again! Not a big problem, simply a little annoying. Thanks.

I had the same problem with the same thread. I finally put it on "ignore thread," but while that pretty well solves my problem, it still indicates a glitch at the forum.

I'm very sorry BCAC. I do not seem to be able to reproduce what you are referring to.

If you click on "New Posts" and then on a thread, then click "New Posts" again the thread should not show again unless someone has posted to it again. This is what it is doing for me.

Is this not happening for you?

That's exactly what isn't happening for me, Steve, but only on that one thread.

Ditto for me on XP. Has been like it all day and only on the one thread.

Boy you tech guys are good, just tried the offending thread after my post and now all is well, read Xmans post and clicked "new posts and all is working as it should.
    Thank you

This is what SHOULD happen, but it is not happening with this particular thread. It also references a last post that does not seem to exist. It always appears as the last past on the "new posts" list.

There are a couple other threads with this type of problem. They show up in my "subscribed threads" feed as having new posts, but clicking on them will only lead me to the second last page...

That's wild. "Wear of Clan Tartan..." doesn't do that to me.

Strange. I'd don't have any problems with these threads.
