Search Function Problem With New System

Hi Steve, I realise you are probably snowed under with queries,responses to the new system

I have been trying to utilise the search function and found that whatever topic I type in, if I get a response, then there is nothing newer than 2006 in the responses. I dont know if there is a problem with the new sysyem or my computer which runs on XP. I have tried advanced search also with a variety of parametres, all to no avail.

I went to advanced search and put "hose" as the keyword. It returned 500 results, the first one is from earlier this month. I unchecked the "titles only" box and it still returns 500. So there's a max of 500 results but it does find recent threads.

I also did a search on posts by Macmillan's Son. In the multiple Content type search I got 10 results and in the Single content type I only got 1!

Thanks guys, I will take a look at this. Seems like the search index is not working correctly. I will rebuild it, and hopefully that will take care of it.
