Fighting back against snowmageddon...
How does your typical Michigander Highland Athlete compete against 12 inches of snow, 5 ft. drifts and 40 mph winds?
He 'attempts' to toss a caber in it! NO--there are NO pictures
Anyone else as sick and twisted as I am?

Well, not being a caber tosser...I did shovel for 2 hours yesterday and considered that doing so may approximate some heavy athletic events. I even thought of posing the question to the heavy athletes of Xmarks??? But I did have a vision of some type of winter version of highland athletics...

The tossing is easy, its digging it out of the drift to do it again that will freeze your hands. I grew up in Michigan, but moved to Texas years ago to get away from that weather. It is now 17 degrees F in Waco, TX. Don't you love it when a plan comes together?

I would imagine not slipping due to reduced traction would be somewhat problematic too...

You have the dynamics scrutinized precisely, sir! Do NOT attempt this! I've made the mistake for everyone else to learn from

I seriously just laughed aloud! I can only imagine a very SNL type skit playing out with near tragic outcomes

The only thing missing was the campy-bag pipe music
Wouldn't have been able to hear it over the laughter of my wife.

My wife just rolled her eyes at the thought. Said she'd call the looney bin if I kilt up and go out in below zero weather.

Sadly, my wife just calls that 'normal' for me
Gotta fight off the cabin-fever somehow, eh?
