Northeast Florida Scottish Games & Festival
This years games will be on Saturday February 25th, 2012 at the Clay County Fair grounds, in beautiful Green Cove Springs, Florida @ 2497 State Road 16 West. The festival will begin at 9 AM and run until 10PM.
I do not think there will be the a pub crawl (for reasons unknown to me), So If the rabble want to ge something going, now's the time to coordinate.

I took a look to see where Clay County is: greater Jacksonville area.

Re: Northeast Florida Scottish Games & Festival
I can address the pub crawl issue.
Until last year, the NEFL Games sponsored a double-decker bus to come to Jacksonville and visit a number of local pubs during the week leading up to the games. This was intended primarily as a way of publicizing the games, as the funds raised by the pub crawls were minimal.
Regrettably, in the past couple of years, a few pub crawlers chose to involve themselves with activities that were not as "family friendly" as could be wished. When the Board of Directors of the games were informed of these activities, they were quite concerned that the pub crawl was becoming a liability.
So...to prevent drunken louts from bringing unwanted, adverse attention, the Board discontinued the sanctioned pub crawl.
'A damned ill-conditioned sort of an ape. It had a can of ale at every pot-house on the road, and is reeling drunk. "

UGGGGH! Always someone screwing up a good thing
So, I guess we don't have anything for the fun-loving adults can get into. It's already sad that the games are only for a day (and all the way out in Greencove Springs, but that's another thing), now, we don't have a decent pub crawl. If the gang wants to do anything on Friday or Saturday, let's get something together.

I'll be attending the games. Would be nice to meet up with some of the other rabble, and snap a few pics for Xmarks . These are my favorite Florida Games I go to with the Family, the Seating for the Ceremonies is great!, even my wee lad can see everything. Stopping in St. Augustine for breakfast at the Bakery, then off to the games.

I think I saw you at the Central Florida games, I was a bit chilly so I made haste to the Dunnedin Brewery area to warm myself up
