July Kilt Night in Atlanta

@Crawdaddyjc has expressed an interest in the next kilt night, so let's plan one out! @Creag, @Catharps (I think you may be in town?)

Would love to, of course I'm gone on weekends BUT I will be in town next Friday (21st). If the folks want to do weekday, I'm good all next week anytime, anywhere. Don't leave out @Bamamedic.

I am free on Friday the 21st. I'm also free during the week, but I just have to head home much earlier.

Me too, have to be a citizen on weekdays. I have an extra day free next week, the wife and kids will be out of town so nothing for me to go home to in Birmingham but I have to get back Saturday to get the dog out of the kennel.

I'd love to do a kilt night at Phipps Tavern sometime, the waitresses wear kilts, or more like Catholic school skirts. But I hate driving to Buckhead after work, it's easier to go the extra distance to Perimeter area.

The waitresses wear kilts at The Pub, too. When we went, I had on my Buchanan modern, and one waitress was also wearing a Buchanan. Of course, she had no idea it was a Buchanan. They just pick them out of a catalog, on a whim, I guess.

Did you guys make it to The Highlander last month?

Which Pub do you speak of? Sounds like we must go there sometime.

A couple of us straggled to the Highlander to close out the night. Grainreaper and Tripleblessed had to hit the road.

It was The Pub at the Perimeter, a chain restaurant. Trippleblessed, Creag, Gil, and myself met there in April of 2016.

edited to add: Then it sounds as though there still has not been a Kilt Night at the Highlander? We need to get there, then! Bonus, it's 15 minutes from my work (which means I get there hours before the rest of the rabble shows up)

@Wareyin that must be before I had the pleasure of meeting the fine folks here and a few of the questionable ones. We'll have to put that one back in the repertoire sometime.

Now that I have gotten settled in ITP for both work and residence, I am finding it pretty easy to get to the northside so I can go either way.
