A little short notice but a couple of us are trying to get a kiltnight together in Columbus, Ohio on Saturday, November 21. Start time 7pm EST at Claddaugh, 8745 Sancus Blvd Columbus, OH 43240-2016. This is the one north of I-270 near I-71. After dinner we will migrate somewhere else yet to be decided. May end up at The Pub Polaris or another location. Post here if you can attend. just saw that today, not that I could have made it to Columbus. But that place was good when we had the kilt night in Mason/Cincy last May. I still need to see if they really can make that chicken more spicy.
There were four of us that night. We went to The Pub after dinner but did not stay very long. We moved on to a non-Celtic place that had live music. The kilts were a hit and generated some interesting conversation. If you want to make a Columbus kilt night you can always ride up with me. Have to figure out the logistics. Mike
I might have to take you up on that. Then again, we have two Irish pubs, and a British tavern in the town directly to the south of here. (Troy) I've only been to one of them, and it was a very long time ago. And there is the "Australian" pub in town here, but I dunno about that place.
