So my wife and i just moved into a large and lovely home in Garrettsville, Ohio. Plenty of space to host either a kilt night or even a Burns Supper. Anybody else in N.E. Ohio or willing to make the drive here for a dinner or just a night in of visiting and *possibly* some drinking?
I wish I believed in reincarnation. Where's Charles Martel when you need him?
How incredibly nice of you! I would love it but some one would have to pick me up. I can't Google right now so just give me where in N E Ohio. In the meantime, all the best with that new home!
The booming metropolis of G'Ville (pop. about 2,500) is in Portage County, very near Hiram College. The center of town is the intersection of State Routes 88 and 82. About 45 minutes ESE of Cleveland, Oh.

Congratulations on your new home. I live in Twinsburg which is approximately 30 minutes away. If it is a small gathering I can bring a can of haggis and can of butternut squash soup I got from the UK. The canned haggis may be better than a haggis I had at a Burns Night a few years ago.
Cool. We'll see if we can get a few folks interested in meeting and then set a date convenient for all or most. If all else fails, we can have a go just the two of us and families!
Tried to send you a PM, but the system says you have them blocked. Want to free that up so I can try again? Thanks!

I just updated my e-mail address and the system blocked my PM's and posting until I clicked the link in the verification e-mail. Should be working fine now.
