St. Patrick's Day Celebration - Greater Dayton/Cincinnati Area
Greetings,
I have recently moved to the area, I actually live in Middletown, however my wife, myself, and friends plan to have pints, drams, and absolutely bang on grub at The Pub in Beavercreek - main reason why we are going there, besides the place being very traditional and has a spectactular variety of drinks, is because the Cincinnati Caledonian Pipes and Drums are performing there at 5pm - can't have a proper Scottish ceilidh, and naturally it wouldn't quite be St. Patrick's Day without a few reels, marches, and strathspeys thrown into the mix!!!
Anyone in the greater Dayton and Cincinnati area who would like to join us, and trust me, we make every effort possible to have a good time, then we would love to meet and greet! I will most definitely be in Highland day attire - if you are interested in meeting up, please feel free to PM me. I've noted the websites for both the Cincinnati Caledonian Pipes and Drums and The Pub at The Greene in Beavercreek, OH. I look forward to finally meeting many of you very soon!

Thanks for coming out.
The pipe band was actually Miami Valley Pipes and Drums, mvpipesdrums.org.
We were exhausted by 5pm after playing all over town. It was a fun day and a good day to be a piper!
Have you thought about joining the Dayton St. Andrews Society? PM me if you are interested.
Cheers,
Jake
