Former XMarker Jack Daw and I finally had a chance to visit a local pub named “Under the Kilt” which opened a few months ago in Cypress. (https://underthekiltpub.com/). It’s a small pub with indoor and outdoor seating which serves Scottish pub fare (a variety of meat pies, sausage rolls, Scotch eggs, etc.). It’s been some time since we’ve had a Houston area Kilt Night, so we thought we’d see if there’s any interest in having one at Under the Kilt, hopefully sometime in the next 2-3 weeks. This does sound interesting to me! I hadn't heard of the restaurant and it is only a few minutes drive from me. I can't ever pass up the opportunity for a good scotch egg.

Jack Daw says there are others not on this forum who are also inclined to the 1/4 date, so it looks like that’s the date. Now we just need to settle on a time. BD is coming the furthest... what works for you, BD? SM
Jack Daw is proposing a start time of 4 pm (when they open), and it can go on as long as we choose. What say you? SM
We can try for 4pm. Since it is a Saturday there shouldn't be any great hindrance getting away from home early enough to get there.
