Kilt night in DFW?

I seem to remember seeing a lot of new members from the DFW area on the board. Anyone interested in rallying the newbies and oldies alike to chat over a dram or two?

Actually, I'm not sure if people are subscribed to the D/FW social group, so many people may not see it if they don't go check it often.

Whenever I would get interest going for kilt nights, or get the word out for planned events, I would PM all the members. It was an annoying process since you're only allowed to PM a set number at a time (10, I think?).

Your best bet would be to contact anyone you know and let them know about this thread. RowdyRed and I used to have to do that to get the word out.

edited to add: The reason the social group helped me is that D/FW members joining the group were in one spot so I could find them easily enough to send a PM. Meant to mention that

So the social group did help, but it wasn't checked often by everyone.

I think that's good, Jim. Trinity is right next to the DART rail, so hopefully makes it pretty accessible. How about next Friday, the 29th?

Thanks for the idea about using the social group to pull PMs

I'll start sending notes out, as well as to a couple Facebook peeps.

Edit: Ok, sent to everyone in Cynthia's list (save those already posted to this thread). Now to sift through the newbie board :P
