Poll for DFW kilt night
Hi all,
A poll for whether we will wait for the scarf to do the kilt night or do one soon and plan a second one when we have a timeline for the scarf.
Yes, more parties, more fun. We need to get together more often.
No, let's put our effort to doing it right. This way we are caught by surprise a week after we do one.
Feel free to post comments in the thread.

I voted no. Who knows when the scarf will make it here? It could be quite awhile.
Don't forget about the TSF&HG e-group's Scottish Invasion the last Saturday of July. They haven't set a location yet, but are leaning towards Fort Worth since last year's Invasion was in Dallas and all of the others were in the Mid-cities area.

I am up for either, unless it is the 3rd week of July, I will be in PA
If it looks like the scarf may be a while it might be nice to maybe have a suppper someplace?
I will stay tuned

I guess I'm overthinking this. The wording of the poll indicates my vote should be "no" because I don't want to wait for the scarf to get together, but Drac's OP description says that "yes" means more parties, more fun. To be clear, I WANT MORE PARTIES, MORE FUN (including a scarf celebration)!!!

PS: To update you on the TSF&HG e-group's plan for the last Saturday of July, the Highlands at Arlington is starting to compete with Fort Worth locations for the Scottish Invasion. I'll let you know more as I hear.

Inquiring minds want to know...
"My beloved America, thank you for your children. If your children want to become soldiers I will train them. When they are hungry I will feed them. When they are thirsty I will give them water. When they fight for freedom I will lead them. When they are unsteady on the battlefield I will motivate them. If they die on the battlefield I will bury them. So help me God."

I'M wondering about a kilt night....
...closer to my neck of the woods in Bryan/College Station! 3 hours or so is a bit of a haul for just an evening of fun. 'Though it IS an evening of fun...
Nothing says, "I love you" like a sporran full of haggis!!
