Impromptu Kilt Night at Park Lane Tavern @ Fredericksburg on FRI 4/20
Impromptu Kilt Night at Park Lane Tavern this Friday night 4/20! So come on over whether you are attending the UMW Eagle Pipe Band performance or just getting home from that DC commute. Wear your kilt or tartan sash, and just tell the bar staff that Malcolm’s kilt is the X Marks the Scot tartan and they will give you a beer and put it on his tab!

When are you planning on getting there, Ern?

This does not compute...how can you announce an impromptu KNO? Now, I'll not get any sleep tonight trying to figure this out. Thanks, Ern. Sorry to interrupt. (I wished I could go.)

You know Bill; the Bellhaven tastes better at Park Lane than it did in Scotland and locally at the Capital Ale House. I think it may have something to do with the mini kilt attired serving lasses there.

I’m going to the UMW Pipe Band Concert which I was told started at seven but just read in the paper its 7:30 and will go to Park Lane afterwards. So I probably will get there between 8:30 and nine. Grab a place at the bar and tell the staff you are a friend of Malcolm’s and they will take good care of you. Hope you and Michelle can make it!

im•promp•tu -Prompted by the occasion rather than being planned in advance
Hey Jack it’s my party and I’ll call it what I want to!
Actually, I first announced it to the local Scottish Society and as I announced it without the society’s input I thought it best be for it to be called impromptu!
Wish you could, too!

Wish I could make it. I would love to meet some of the local rabble and show off my new Xmarks Kingussie PV (arrived yesterday). I will get to meet a few next weekend at the Southern MD Celtic Fest.

Sorry we didn't make it. Michele and I both had horrible work days, and neither of us felt up to the long drive.
