Moving in June
Hello to all the VA, MD, DC crowd! It appears that my family and I will be moving to the greater DC area for work in June. We have not found a place at this time, although have begun looking. We intend to rent and will be looking for something that offers good schools for my son while minimizing my commute.
No matter where we end up, I am looking forward to the move and hope to meet some of you while out and about.
Have a great day and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Best wishes on your upcoming move
An advance welcome, from down here in Richmond. Mark your calendar for the Virginia Scottish Games the first weekend of September, not far from the D.C. area, and the Old Town Alexandria Scottish Christmas Walk.
And do I take it from your username and avatar that you're an MSU fan? If so, I look forward to my Crimson Tide meeting your guys in Dallas. Should be a good one!

It's not New England but the mid-Atlantic's pretty nice. Been here for about 15 years now. Welcome to the area, from about 20 miles north of DC in Severn, M.D.

I am indeed a graduate/alum of the fine institution known as Michigan State University. So far as I know, I have the only kilt made from their registered tartan (which is my avatar). I will be wearing it while our two teams duke it out on the gridiron in Dallas. Best of luck to your team.
Happy Holidays!

Can't wait to be in an area where Kilt Nights actually happen! As it stands, our local kilt nights are inclusive of 1 kilt--mine.
Happy Holidays!

Welcome from the boondocks in Carroll County MD. The Commute is a little long, but the schools and fresh air make it worth the travel time.
