Burns Night at the Naval Club of Toronto
Some of the regular crowd from Tartan Tuesday are going to the Burns Night at the Naval Club of Toronto, a Three course meal and of course Haggis, with a piper and music. Please RSVP as soon as possible and by the 21st at the latest.
We have 2 tables of 6 at the moment but can get more seats if needed. Price is $25 each which is a wonderful price for a Burns Night. If you are on facebook I have set up an event page here

Here is the Naval Club information page on the event.

I would love to see a bunch of people there as Burns Suppers are always great fun.

Bee and I will be going! A quick search didn't show a dress code or photos from previous years. Any idea of how formal this will be?

Nathan and I will be wearing daywear, something akin to what you would normally wear for a Tartan Tuesday.

Far be it for me to comment or advise, but perhaps a phone call to the Club for appropriate dress advice might be in order?

A fair point, Jock. Glen did call them and the dress is no dressier than tweed Argylls.

Sorry can't attend, its a bit far at 3576 miles, so I'll be attending Snowflake Sailing Club's Burns night here in Norfolk, which is sold out and has a waiting list.
Good luck with your event.
