St Andrews Day (November 30th)
This Wednesday (November 30th) is St Andrews Day* and I am curious to know if anyone is gathering for a wee dram to honour Scotland's Patron Saint? Traditionally a good feasting is in order, but I would be happy to join one or more for a beverage and an excuse to put on my kilt. This is a work night so I cannot travel too far, but I would be willing to drive as far as Toronto or London (and points in between).
Also, if you can suggest any pubs or restaurants with a hint of the "Old Country" do share.
tapadh leat (thank you)

Re: St Andrews Day (November 30th)
I'll be kilted in Toronto. My home territory is the St. Lawrencew Market area. I'm trying to see if I can breakaway for a dram @ Fionn McCools on The Esplinade (Robbie Burns Day)
Another good spot is the Caladonian Pub on College St. ( a group of us met there on Tartan Day).
So, in short, I'm still unsure of what I'll be able to manage. I hope to know more tomorrow.

I will be attending the St. Andrews Society of Baltimores 206th Anniversary Dinner, so there will be many drams that night.

I attended the St. Andrews Society of San Francisco's annual Baquet and Ball on Saturday evening. However, if I don't have to work on Wednesday, I will lift a dram to Scotland's Patron Saint and will do so while wearing my kilt.

We don't have an event scheduled for Bozeman, but I will be doing my Christmas shopping kilted. Up the English! (Sorry, I got carried away.)
Scotland is only 1/5 the size of Montana, but Scotland has over 3,000 castles and Montana has none.

Well Lads and Lassies, I am raising a wee dram of uisge beatha "The Water of Life" to honour St Andrew - Scotland's Patron Saint.
May the raindrops fall lightly on your brow.
May the soft winds freshen your spirit.
May the sunshine brighten your brow.
May the burdens of the day rest lightly upon you.
And may God enfold in the mantle of his love always.
