St Paddy's Day in Toronto
For those in the Toronto area my favorite Celtic band, Rant Maggie Rant, from Stratford / St. Mary's, are performing at Hugh's Room, Bloor and Dundas on Thursday March 17.
The band has hired me to drive a van full of female fans to the show, so we could make a kilt night of it, if you care to join me.
I won't be hard to find, I'll be wearing my Weathered Gunn or my Army Green Hemp RKilt..........perhaps the RKilt would be more fitting.
Tickets can be purchased from Hugh's Room, it's one of the best music venues in Canada.
Cheers,
Ken

Is it a concert, a bar or what? Will they have green beer?
I'm not far away but it depends on my stamina - my health is not the best at the moment. Thanks for letting us know. If I'm there I'll wear my kilt, for sure.

It could best be described as a dinner concert venue thingy. No obligation to have dinner, you could do the concert and drink thing(y).
Cheers,

Where are the Mahones playing? I saw them on "The Hour" on CBC a few Christmas's back, they had Damhnait Doyle helping out with "Fairy Tale of New York". I thought it was better version than the Pogues, but I've had this thing for Ms. Doyle for a long time..........
Have a good time, wish I could make it Thursday.
Cheers,
Ken

PS: at least I have a good excuse for not going to the Mahone's show.
