Stratford Kilt Night

May 7, 2011 @ 1800 @ RKilts on York St. in the lovely town/city of Stratford, Ont.

BBQ - Bison Burgers and other dead things. (weather permitting)

Impromptu whiskey tasting.

Followed by a pub crawl. (For those unable to hold your liquor the crawl part can be taken as, "literal").

These are always a good time, last one saw over twenty attendies. (everyone seemed to have behaved.......something we hope to rectify on this go around and the police have all ready been informed....warned?)

We're not going to be able to make it. Work has really picked up and with it being the week before I'm gone for a week, I expect to be hammered.

Having just devoured all three seasons of Slings And Arrows in just a couple of nights, I find myself dying to get to Stratford, the thinly disguised model for New Burbage. I was pretty grumpy when I found out that you had Christopher Plummer up there doing The Tempest a while back and I wasn't going to get to see it. A kilt night in Stratford may be one of the best excuses I'll get but it's just not in the cards right now. Someday, though, my Canadian Kilted Bruthas...

I participated in the last one via webcam and Skype it looked like a heckuva good time, sorry I live so far away but have a great time. I sure would not miss this if I lived anywhere close.

A wonderful evening, still ongoing for those who don't have to get up and preach in the morning. Thank you Robert for putting this together, Ken for flipping Bison Burgers, and all for coming. It was a really great evening and I wish I could have stayed. I know, I know - no pictures, it didn't happen. They'll follow, but for now I have to be headin' for the beddin' so that I may perform my duties in the morning.
