Tartan Day Toronto
I plan on going and will most likely be kilted, black jacket and tie etc. No gillies.

Both McMurdo and I have attended the past two years, those years it was more of a business reception and requested a donation be made to the foundation. I believe this year is an $80 plate. Are seats still available? With Glen having moved outside of the city it may be difficult for him to make it, but I may still be interested.
cheers
Dave

Great you get to kill (bad choice of words, I know and no offence intended) two birds with one stone, the eleventh is also Holocaust Remembrance Day.
I may be able to attend, post some meet up info Pete. Maybe I can drag Robert away from the shop for some time off, I know he could use it.
Cheers,
Ken

We have our tickets and will be there, it would be great to see others there as well. They say it's on the 16th on the website by the way.

Ghillies
I think I am missing something. I am relatively new to the forum but so far I have read a comment by posters on at least three occasions in line with "no gillies". Is there a general dislike for ghillies which leads to this? I am assuming there was a discussion in the past along this line. Or, am I just reading more into it than intended? Trying to understand the comment. Wouldn't ask if I haven't seen it a few times. I am posting to the Toronto thread where I last seen the comment although it may be best asked on another thread. Thanks.
