World famous Stratford Kilt night
Saturday March 3rd, 2012, The Old Rectory B&B and RKilts will be hosting a kilt night/ pub crawl. (7:30 PM - ?)
We have a great time on these nights even with Grant in attendance.

Instead of starting out at my shop we will be starting out at the "Old Rectory B&B http://www.oldrectorystratford.com/. This is a wonderful location right downtown Stratford, depending on how we do we may also go on a pub crawl, visiting, The Boars Head, http://www.queensinnstratford.ca/ Fosters, http://www.fostersinn.com/ Down the Street http://www.downthestreet.ca/. Just a few of the establishments available to us.
The Old Rectory B&B will also be offering a special rate for those wishing to stay overnight. A number of the hotels offer off season rates. (The Queens INN in the link above is very close to the Old Rectory)
A light dinner will also be available this evening , Kevin from The Old Rectory will be the chef for the evening. ($10 contribution will be greatly appreciated a pint is included to start us off)
The event is open to spouses and partners, those planning to attend in pants or skirts must be of the female persuasion otherwise you'll be left out in the cold!
Please email me if you're planning to attend. rkilts@bellnet.ca.

Look at the turnout!
We could have the Chicago kilt nights in a phone booth if we could find one...one that served beer...

I'll be there, if I'm not in Algonquin camping. There's two feet of snow in the park.....NO feet of snow in Stratford. What happened to winter?
Cheers,
Ken
PS: for my "pint", I'd prefer the Mcallan's 12 please......actually prefer the 18 but....................

You never know, someone just might bring a Mcallan's 18.
If there's snow in Algonquin now! then I would go camping NOW! so you'll have stories to tell us on March 3rd.

ya, that was last year! We generally top out around 25 participants. I think we'll get a good response for this one too.
Now there is a phone booth near one of the pubs, we just might see how many of the rabble we can quaich in the space.
I rather doubt we shall see the Xmarks Quaich at this event.
