    Doubling garter ties

Today I bought red and blue webbing to use as garter ties, and had the idea to try wearing both pairs at the same time. It added an interesting pop of color. Is this a thing people do? Am I crazy?

Yep, definitely crazy!!! But here is medication for such things. It may be a bit too much using both ties, but how about customizing them by cutting in half and joining one of each color ?

I do something that's a bit odd but recently earned some nice compliments on here. It is very similar to what you are doing.

I wear garter ties...BUT...I added a red flash to each tie. It creates a nice effect.

It is not the most common style but it does look nice. I say go for it. I like it.

I think you are on to something there Brooke, I have knitted flashes on the elasticated garter, I think I will mix them up a bit and see what transpire.

Go for it. As long as the turnover is thick enough to absorb the extra bulk it should look good.

I like it! Especially appropriate for this coming Monday, I'd say.

[ For those in other locations, that's the US Memorial Day observation.]
