    Scottish Octoberfest?

A moment of levity during our annual neighborhood Octoberfest celebration.

Nothing wrong with a bit of 'cross-cultural' interchange ...

Looking happy, relaxed, and good. Nice outfit. I particularly like your leprechaun balmoral, ... just kidding. Your outfit looks perfect for an Oktoberfest Bacchanalia.

I used to date blow-up girls, too, before I got married. OK, even occasionally after the nuptials.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

The Germans love us going to Oktoberfest kilted! You will have many rounds shared and pick up a lot of great stories, especially from the older folks. Only once an American guy came up to me and said, "You've got a lot of nerve to wear THAT here!" which an elderly German gentleman overheard, gave him a dirty look and immediately bought me a pint.

Yeah... Wearing a kilt to an Octoberfest celebration could be construed as poor form by some. However, given that my grandmother was of German descent, and that the neighborhood is so used to seeing me kilted that my appearance caused not a single glance, I felt it was a proper choice. Besides, the weather was perfect kilt weather: mid-50's and overcast. It was a great night.
