    Checked fabric for RevK X-kilt

    Hello to the rabble,
I have made one box pleated x-kilt, and I wanting to now try a RevK kilt. In going through my fabric stash, I found about 5 yards of 60" wide cotton/wool, in a checked pattern. The checks are about 1/2", so the pattern is fairly small. I am wondering if anyone has tried a fabric like this before, and if it would work. I know I would have to get a little creative to make the pleats line up with the pattern, but I think I can make it work. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for all the inspiration.

I've done 1/4 inch checkered, once you get going the check isn't bad but when it's done it still looks good, and sorry rabble no pics of that one and its on its way to its new owner
