    Help with Horse Hair Replacement

I bought an old Horse hair sporran off of ebay and as soon as I started to wash and condition it, a good portion of the hair broke and fell out. So now it's looking really thin and it still looks dingy. I was wondering if there was a way to replace the old horse hair with new hair without completely disassembling or deconstructing the leather portion of the sporran? Any help or recomendations would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

Top 3 things off the top of my head:

    1. Velcro

    2. Superglue

    3. Make a deal with Artificer

Re: Help with Horse Hair Replacement

Chances are that if a significant amount of hair has broken off, the rest may follow suit over time. I would replace all of the hair. This way, it is all roughly the same age, color and condition. You might also check the backing that the hair is attached to. It may be deteriorating as well.
    Just some thoughts
