Hybrid Xkilt
Quick question
How would you hybrid a Xkilt?
I am thinking it will be strips of the base and tartan material....
Just curious before I start cutting

This is one I can try to answer. When I made mine it was a matter of planning and math. Math primarily due to seam allowances. I did all the inner pleat surfaces in tartan and all outer surfaces in solid color. Here is the link to the thread I started and used when I was asking for advice:

Mine ended up being not just a hybrid in material but also a hybrid of traditional/contemporary/X-Kilt.
I hope this helps.
