I was searching on the forum and Googling, with no success. I'm thinking on trying myself on inkle/card waving. Maybe to end up with garter ties with Scottish (Celtic) pattern. Can't find any instructions on warping and card turning to get something looking Celtic (Scottish). Help! Thanks & regards.

Matt Newsome's wife weaves some, and I think she has an inkle loom. You might try sending him a PM and see what you cn find out.

I have this one on card weaving. You might check it out though card and inkle weaving are different. It does have some celtic like designs and teaches how you can control the pattern to do your own. Since it is any design based on a graph would be possible. http://www.amazon.com/Card-Weaving-C...4637992&sr=8-1 I do a few odd/archaic hobbies. Blackwork, hardanger and bobbin lace are among them. Trying a bobbin lace fan for my wife right now. Once I can do it I will be able to use the same patterns to do a handmade jabot. My goal one day is to do all the trim for Amy's gown. Jim

I am not much more than a beginner/dabbler in many of my interests. Can pick up basics and not get much more than that. The fan in question is definately basic grounds, heads and footsides. Jim
